Does Derma TR treatment hurt?
Most clients describe the sensation as similar to a quick, warm snap on the skin. It can be slightly uncomfortable but is usually well-tolerated. A cooling device or numbing cream can be used to make the procedure more comfortable if needed.
Are there any side effects?
Mild redness, swelling, or small scabs are common for a few days after treatment. These are normal signs of healing. Following after-care instructions will help your skin recover quickly and minimise any risk of pigmentation changes or irritation.
How long does the treatment take?
Your first appointment includes a consultation and patch test, which takes around 15 minutes. This allows your practitioner to assess your skin and ensure you respond safely to the laser.
The actual tattoo removal treatment can take anywhere from 10 minutes to 1 hour and 30 minutes, depending on the size, colour, and placement of the tattoo.
Am I suitable for the treatment?
Most people are suitable for Derma TR tattoo removal. However, your practitioner will assess your skin type, tattoo colours, and medical history during your consultation to ensure the treatment is safe and effective for you. It’s not recommended during pregnancy or for clients with certain skin conditions.
When can I see the results of this treatment?
